Payment Options

We have 3 ways to purchase EMGrantsPro, to give you the flexibility to choose what works best for your State:

• Upfront, One-time - The entire product price can be paid upfront (which entitles you to a 5% discount).
• Lease to Own - You may pay for the product in annual installments over a period of up to 5 years.
• Thresholds - You may pay for 50% of the product cost upfront and then the balance upon crossing a threshold of $25 million in total eligible amount in the system (note that custom thresholds may also be determined).

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the free trial work?
Each product edition allows for a free trial option for 1 single Grant (i.e. one declaration) providing the total eligible amount of projects is less than $25 million. You have no commitment or obligation to continue using the product after the trial ends. We setup the trial system and help you to load in data (i.e. key Applicants in a single grant). The trial allows you to spend a good amount of time learning both how the system works and the benefits your State would realize by using EMGrantsPro. It is our hope that you will see the benefits of using the system during this trial and move forward with one of the editions for future grants.

Why can't you tell me the costs for each edition?
The Standard/Premium editions have many configuration/customization options. As an example of configuration options, some clients want PA and HMA to coexist in the same system, while others prefer separation. When it comes to customization, we always make sure the system perfectly matches your existing business process, so small differences may require customization. We request that you contact us to assess your specific needs before providing a custom proposal.

Can I upgrade plans at any time?
Upgrading to a higher edition may be done at any point. To go from the Standard to Premium edition, we simply charge for the increase in price, with no penalty.

Why wouldn't I just wait for a larger disaster before proceeding with the product?
There are several benefits to being proactive and getting started in EMGrantsPro:

• Prepares for catastrophic event - States with the infrastructure to handle only small disasters can have the same capacity to handle catastrophes. A proactive disaster plan considers the capacity to handle possible larger events.
• Organizes process - Implementation of the system requires a quick reexamination of existing forms/processes which is a good exercise for disaster preparation.
• Training in system - Staff can become familiar with the product in advance of a major event. Applicants can also be notified of the new tool available to them in doing business with the State online.
• Begins relationship with MB3 - As the period directly following a major disaster is often extremely hectic, a preferred time for setting up the agreement is before the event.
